もし死ぬまえに最後に一枚だけ絵を描かせてくれると神様が言ってくれるのなら、
きっと僕が描きたいのは母の姿なんだろうと思ったことがあります。母なるものとは
いったいどんな姿なのか、ずっとその面影を追いかけています。

If a god gives a chance to paint a last picture before my death,
it would be a figure of Mother. I always seek for it to catch a glimpse,
imaging what Mother would look like.
