女ひとり/島倉千代子

島倉千代子自身のシングル曲「女がひとり」ではなく、デューク・エイセスが歌った有名な京都のご当地ソング「女ひとり」のカバーである。古い日本文化や伝統に造詣の深い永六輔らしい詞で、3分半の曲中に京都の有名な寺院が三つも登場し、着物と帯の名前が次々と登場する。オリジナル曲でも、失意の女性が恋を引きずりながら京都を彷徨うような暗い内容ではないのだが、島倉の「女ひとり」は数あるカバーの中でも並外れた爽快さで1人のドライブを楽しむ女性を連想させる。なんなら着物も着ていない気がする。そのようなイメージで、さらっと薄墨で嵐山のドライブウェイを描いてみました。
今回は「哀しみのルート16」と合わせて春から夏に聴きたい私の好きなドライブソングを2曲選びました。

It is a cover of a famous Japanese song. In this short song, the names of places and temples, as well as kimono and obi, appear one after another. To match the light tune of the song, which is different from the original, I made drawings of the scenic spots that appear in the song with light ink. This time we chose two driving songs to listen to in the spring and summer.

上出惠悟 Keigo Kamide

1981年石川県生まれ、 2006年東京藝術大学美術学部絵画科油画専攻卒業。同年より、 1879年創業の九谷焼窯元である上出長右衛門窯の後継者として、職人と共に多くの企画や様々な作品を制作、伝統の枠に囚われない柔軟な発想で九谷焼を現代に伝える。 2013年合同会社上出 (かみでしげぃ) 設立を機に本格的に窯の経営に従事すると共に、九谷焼を背景にした豊富なリソースと、古典的な染色技法である描用いたイラストレーション、パッケージデザイン制作を担当。また個人作家としても活動し精力的に個展を開催している。今年、新作となる彫刻作品《B-P-F》を発表した。

Keigo Kamide (b. 1981 in Ishikawa) graduated from Tokyo University of Arts with a BA in Painting specializing in oil painting in 2006. During the same year, Kamide joined Kutani Choemon, his family-owned Kutani ware manufacturer founded in 1879. As a 6th generation successor to the historical pottery, he has been working with artisans to cr
eate various projects and products with flexible ideas unconstrained by tradition, breathing life to Kutani ware to appeal to modern living. Since Kamide Shigei LLC’s establishment in 2013, Kamide has been engaging in full-scale kiln management while also managing the product planning and package designing for brands. As an ind- ividual artist, Kamide holds subsequent solo exhibitions.
