Namekata directs the brand’s overall concept including its story
and design to build the ‘DNA of the brand’ = ‘style of the brand’.
She works in various departments such as fashion, sport
appárel, craftwork, and beauty through her acquired experience
in design and management.
She keeps a neutral mind and continues to make a
communication structure which will gain the consistent fans.

境界線に立つとき
そこに吹く風を感じる
それはどこから来たのか
どこへ行くのかと目を閉じる
匂いを感じて眺めるまぶたの裏は紅い
光線が血管を通じて
網膜にたどり着きひろがる
目を開ければ
いつの間にか風は過ぎ去り
わたしは行くべき場所にすでにいた
As I stand on a borderline,
I felt the wind blow.
Where did it come from – I closed my eyes and wondered where it would leave to.
I caught a scent, and saw back of my eyelids being red. A ray of light travelled through the vessels,and arrived and spread across my retina.
I opened my eyes again,
the wind has gone
and I was already at the destination.

60年生まれ。ビューティーディレクターとして滝田洋二郎監督「おくりびと」や野田秀樹演出「ＥＧＧ」「ＭＩＷＡ」などの舞台、マシュー・バーニーの美術映像など国内外の媒体で活動。 08年より「人物デザイン」というジャンルを開拓し、大河ドラマ「龍馬伝」「平清盛」、映画「寄生獣」「進撃の巨人」、舞台「プルートゥ」などを担当。作品のキャラクターデザイン、衣装デザイン、ヘアメイクデザイン、持ち道具などを総合的に生み出している。
